Why SDM Joinery

SDM Joinery was established by Stephen Munt in 2003. Stephen has been a Joiner for 17 years and his passion for producing bespoke handcrafted timber pieces is truly unique. The business has steadily grown from just Stephen and a small number of machines to a workshop that is fully equipped with modern, high spec machines that are used by our professional and well qualified Joiners. In addition to our Joiners we employ a skilled Paint Technician and an Office Manager. Our Office Manager Hollie joined the business in 2014 to help run the office, assist with the co-ordination of jobs and most importantly provide an additional point of contact for customers.

Over the years the company has worked on a range of prestigious projects for both private and commercial clients. From architectural renovations to hand-built kitchens, from modern high performance windows to traditional designs, SDM Joinery’s meticulous attention to detail is second to none.

Here at SDM Joinery we pride ourselves on our master craftsmanship. All of our joiners are fully trained and highly skilled. Working in a wide variety of timber materials using a combination of traditional and advanced processes.

We ensure all of our joinery is perfectly constructed and meets with today’s technical performance criteria.  We have close links with the British Woodworking Federation to maintain the technical knowledge of the whole team.
